A long awaited day at our house finally came, Frozen 2 is out on DVD! The movie has been SUCH a hit with my group (particularly our 4.5 year old, Vera) who saw it in theaters in November. Then of course we proceeded to get lots of Frozen 2 themed toys for Christmas and have the entire soundtrack memorized. We LOVE listening to the Frozen 2 CD in the car. Even though CDs are a thing of the past, it’s amazing for the new Minnesota hands-free driving law where you can’t play DJ on your phone and drive at the same time).
For the Frozen 2 party, I wanted to utilize most things I already had at home and tried to add some magical touches here and there for the group (ranging in ages 20 months to 7 years old). I used some fun cardboard popcorn boxes and popped a few Frozen 2 stickers on them for an added touch. We had some fun sparkly drink glasses from this summer that just so happen to be blue! I grabbed some cupcakes at the store with plain white frosting and decorated them with some blue/frozen-like sprinkles for a fun dessert (thanks to Cotton Stem blog for that great tip!)
