Landon’s boho baby boy nursery Design was so fun to put together. This room was previously my office, so it had a major transformation turning into a sweet nursery. For the design, we did a faux board and batten wall behind his crib with a sweet little picture ledge (inspired by Bre from Brepurposed!)
So grateful Trish from Trish Allison Photography did these newborn photos for us! She is so kind and sweet and so very talented in what she does.
I wanted to go for a bright simple space with a few boho touches here and there. While it’s great to have some photos of Landon in the hospital from when he was born, these photos in our own home are so much more meaningful to my mama heart. About the boho baby boy nursery design
I started the boho baby boy nursery design knowing I wanted a natural-wood crib. I love that the one we chose has the solid back, which is great for not losing pacis as easily! Next I chose the rug. Knowing I wanted to go with a boho-vibe with some deep blue colors, I was so happy with the Overstock rug we chose.
The IKEA Hemnes dresser is so great for both storage and functionality. I love that the diapers and wipes are tucked away in the drawers keeping the space nice and neat. We ended up changing out the hardware with some inexpensive gold Target knobs to make it a bit more custom.
The Skip Hop foam changing pad is equally as amazing. It’s something we clearly use everyday, and it’s so easy to wipe it clean. We didn’t really use the mobile part, but it’s easy to take off!
We love our rocking chair and have spent so many hours on it with the kids. When looking for an ottoman for the rocker, I came across the outdoor wicker pouf from Target and was hooked. I love that it is made out of a super durable material (almost rubber/plastic-like), but it looks like wicker. It’s super sturdy and a piece we truly love.
